The Moshi Monsters site is one that all mothers should check out especially if they have little children who likes games and is comfortable being on the computer. This site was created by “Mind Candy”, a UK based company and leading developer of social multi-player games.

Moshi Monsters is a virtual game where your kids can socialize safely. They can adopt a monster and name it, take care of it, take it shopping, decorate it’s room and share it with friends. It’s also a learning game. I guarantee your kids will have tons of fun and you’ll become addicted as well. I helped my granddaughter adopt a monster and now I have my own.

Avon!

Avon has been around since the beginning of time and has gone “Global”. They’ve been around so long because they have great products and for the most part great service. You can have your products shipped to you for a really reasonable price or if you select from their list of representatives in your area you can choose to have your order delivered.

My favorite Avon products are “Footwork” brand which for all women with rough, dry, cracked heels this product is a must. I don’t have rough, cracked, dry hills because I use this product on a daily basis.

Official Payments

Official Payments is an awesome site that works like a well oiled machine. You can make real time payments. You can pay tax payments! Last years, this years or next years, it doesn’t matter! Pay individual or business taxes. You can make state payments. Pay Real Estate or personal property taxes, court fees and tuition payments.

I’ve personally paid quarterly taxes for 2009 this way and the entire process is smooth. You can pay without creating an account and you can print your receipt but they also send a copy of the receipt via email. If you choose to create an account they will retain certain information that will make it easier to use the service in the future and they also retain info on previous transactions.

You can pay via credit card, debit card, green dot or they now offer the option to pay via bill me later. There is a convenience fee but it’s worth it for the benefit of being able to pay so conveniently. It’s a flat fee for debit cards of $3.95 and 2.35% of the amount you are paying for other transactions over and above the amount of your actual payment.

Sounds like a place to get the latest news...actually it is because Newport News is a great place to get the latest information on excellent clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories for women. They offer great pricing, regular sales, gift cards, great customer service and a wonderful return/exchange policy.

I do most of my shopping at this site. If you like music and socializing you’ll get both on Last.FM. You can get the latest concert listings in your area, listen to music, watch videos and track which artists and songs are topping the charts this week.

Reverbnation is a great place to show support for your favorite music artist. Listen to their featured music offering on their profile. They also offer some free downloads of your favorite songs. You can become a Street Team Member which is a great way to help artist out when they are performing in your area, join their mailing list, become a fan and leave comments on their profile, see new photos and they also offer banners if you would like to link to your favorite artist.

You can listen to music of up and coming new artists and if by chance you have your own music…or not, you can create your own profile. I have had upcoming artist send me emails to check out their music and let them know what I think. It’s a fun site so check it out!

At Amazon.com they have a little bit of everything. Your favorite music, movies, electronics, electronic accessories, toys, jewelry, shoes, tools and a whole lot more. I will mostly address music because that’s what I mostly buy from them. They offer a wide variety including the latest releases, import and even old hard to find items. They have a comment section where you can find out what other customers think of a product which is nice because sometimes it helps us make a better informed decision when we know what other people think of a product. They have a fabulous MP3 section where you can listen to samples of music, buy it, and then download it. *Remember when you had to buy an album to get one song you really liked…well those days are over!

More importantly what sets Amazon apart is they have an excellent customer service department. They value you as a customer and if they make a mistake, they will make it right. They also offer you easy tracking of past and present orders and sends email confirmations for all your interactions with them.
